- Shirakawa suigen
This spring is located in the Shirakawa area, Minamiaso-mura, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture. From the precincts of “Shirakawa Yoshimi Shrine”, water of 14 tons and 60 tons / min was springing out throughout the year, and was selected as one of the 100 best waters in 1985.
- Shioisha-suigen
In the quiet precinct of Shioi-jinja shrine is a spring pond that is deep and blue. Movement of water can be found only near the bottom of the pond. The water flowing from the pond is the only “Nonbori Gawa”, a river running eastbound, in Minamiaso. Its waterways are aesthetic.

Jigoku Onsen is a hot spring located in Kawayo, Minamiaso-mura, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture. The name of the hot spring is derived from the fact that there is a place where there is no vegetation (so-called hell) due to the volcanic gas eruption on the back of the hot spring.
