- Shirakawa suigen
This spring is located in the Shirakawa area, Minamiaso-mura, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture. From the precincts of “Shirakawa Yoshimi Shrine”, water of 14 tons and 60 tons / min was springing out throughout the year, and was selected as one of the 100 best waters in 1985.

“Yamabuki Suigen” was selected as one of the 100 best waters of Kumamoto. About 30 tons of water flows out every minute, and the water temperature is always at 13.5 degrees. It can be reached by a 10-minute walk from the parking lot.

- ASO Shrine
Aso Shrine is an ancient shrine with a history of more than 2000 years, including Takeiwa tatsumino-mikoto, the grandson of Emperor Jinmu, and 12 family gods. Since ancient times, it has been admired as the best shrine in Higo, combining with the volcanic belief of Mt. Aso crater.
Due to the Kumamoto earthquake, the tower and main shrine collapsed, and restoration work is now underway.
